General information on data processing
We process the personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and to deliver our content and services. As a rule, processing only takes place with the user’s consent or when permitted by law.
Legal bases
- Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR — consent of the data subject

Data deletion and retention period
Personal data is deleted as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies. Data may be stored beyond that point if European or national legislation to which we are subject requires it — particularly commercial-law or tax-law retention periods.
Server log files
Each time our website is accessed, our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the requesting device. The following data is collected:
- User’s IP address (in shortened/anonymised form, where technically feasible)
- Date and time of access
- Page or file requested
- HTTP status code and amount of data transferred
- Referrer URL (previously visited page)
- Browser, operating system and device information used
This data is used to ensure technical operations, the security of our IT systems, and the analysis of any incidents.
Cookies
Our website uses only technically necessary cookies that are required to operate the site (e.g. to maintain the connection via Cloudflare). These cookies contain no personal tracking information and are not used for marketing or analytics purposes.
If consent-based cookies (e.g. for analytics or marketing) are introduced in future, they will only be set after prior consent via a consent banner pursuant to § 25 (1) TTDSG.
Cloudflare (Hosting / CDN)
For secure and high-performance delivery of our website we use services of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (“Cloudflare”). Cloudflare acts as a content delivery network (CDN) and as a security proxy between your browser and our web server. Technically necessary data — in particular your IP address, date and time of access, and header information — is processed by Cloudflare in this context.
Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. A data processing agreement (DPA) and EU Standard Contractual Clauses are in place with Cloudflare to safeguard any data transfer to the USA.
For more information, see Cloudflare’s privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Google Fonts
This website uses so-called web fonts provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, for consistent typography. When a page is accessed, the required fonts are loaded from Google servers into the user’s browser cache. This involves a connection to Google servers, by means of which Google becomes aware that our website has been accessed via your IP address.
The use of this service is in our interest of presenting our online offerings consistently and attractively. If you do not wish data to be transmitted to Google, local font hosting (self-hosting) is possible at any time; we review this option regularly.

Contact form
If you send us enquiries via our contact form, the information you provide — including the contact details you enter — will be stored to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions. Mandatory fields are marked as such; all other information is voluntary.
We typically process the following data:

To process enquiries we use the CRM system HubSpot (HubSpot Ireland Ltd., 1 Sir John Rogerson’s Quay, Dublin 2, Ireland). A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with HubSpot. Any data transfer to the USA is safeguarded by EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
We do not pass on this data without your consent unless we are legally obliged to do so or unless it is necessary for the performance of a contract.
Contact by e-mail or phone
If you contact us by e-mail or phone, your information (name, contact details, content of the message) will be stored to handle your request and any follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
To obfuscate e-mail addresses on our website we use the service Cloudflare Email Address Obfuscation. Your e-mail address is only decrypted client-side when you click. This measure serves exclusively to protect against automated harvesting by spam bots.
