At this year’s TIK 2025 event, organized by Bvik (Bundesverband Industrie Kommunikation e.V.), we had the honor of sharing the stage with our customer Hörmann, one of Europe’s leading manufacturers in the construction industry. Together, we presented how Hörmann was able to reduce its translation costs by 67% through the implementation of our platform, InTO.
Solving the Multilingual DTP Challenge with InTO
The challenge was clear: translating complex, layout-intensive product documentation across 25+ languages while maintaining consistency, quality, and speed. Traditional translation workflows were slow, error-prone, and expensive. With InTO, we automated the InDesign translation process from file preparation to layout return, integrating CAT tools, translation memory, and a visual online review system that even non-professionals can use.

Key Takeaways from Our TIK 2025 Talk
At TIK 2025, we shared practical insights into how InTO helped Hörmann tackle the challenges of multilingual, design-heavy product documentation. Some of the key points we covered:
-
How InTO made the translation of InDesign documents with complex layouts faster and more manageable
-
The impact of automation and AI in cutting down manual steps and avoiding typical errors
-
Real project data showing clear reductions in time and cost
-
Why combining machine translation with human post-editing leads to both efficiency and quality
The Bvik-hosted event was the perfect setting to show how enterprise-ready tools like InTO can make a measurable difference in global content production.
If you're facing similar challenges in your translation process, we’d be happy to show you how InTO can help.
